Born in 1954 in Osaka. Studied at the Fine Art Institute of Osaka City. Is very active in painting for children. Has a deep knowledge of paleontology. Main works include "Kyoryu no Tairiku" "Kyoryu Zukai Shinjiten" (Komine Shoten), "Emaki Ehon Kyoryu tachi" "Kyoryu no Tani" (Kogumasha), "Genshi Jidai no Zetsumetsu Dobutsu" "Nihon no Zetsumetsu Dobutsu" (Doshinsha).
